Key Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The Sponsorship Data Coordinator will manage and control quality of all Sponsorship core business processes of the WVI Nepal’s Field Offices APs. This position is expected to ensure Sponsorship minimum programming standard adherence to Child Sponsorship standards while executing Sponsorship business activities. It requires to manage the Sponsorship Systems desktop application and data management to ensure the quality of data and efficient management of Sponsorship systems. It also requires to ensure the quality control and management of correspondences and all photos and videos production in Sponsorship of all APs. This is an office-based position but will involve frequent visits to the APs for monitoring and coaching of mobilisers to check the quality of sponsorship business activities. Regular and direct communication with Sponsorship Field Coordinators at district and National Office Sponsorship team for Sponsorship related matters would need to be done.
This position is also required to lead, coach, supervise and monitor the work of Sponsorship Correspondence Assistant.
WVI Nepal East SDC will be responsible for APs in Udayapur East and West, Rautahat East and West, Mahottari East and West, Lamjung AP, Sindhuli East and West, Sarlahi East and West.

WVI Nepal West SDC will be responsible for APs in Bhajang East and West, Doti East and West, Achham East and West, Kailali East, Chisapani, Jumla and Sinja.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate operations of all Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship Business processes for the Field Office and its relevant Area Programmes (APs)
  • Coordinate quality, integrity, security and consistency of information generated by all Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship Correspondence, 2.0 products and Systems for the Field Office
  • Coordinate digitalization of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship processes for the Field Office in alignment with organizational standards and in coordination with relevant WVI Nepal’s departments including Operations (Sponsorship), IT and MEALS
  • Coordinate queries for the Field Office’s APs. Ensure queries are responded to and followed up by relevant APs in a timely manner. Ensure queries and feedback loops are documented and closed appropriately
  • Ensure Sponsorship Operations Indicator (SOI) reports for all APs are green and plan follow up action in case of variance
  • Provide capacity building and technical support to Field Sponsorship Coordinators to ensure quality, integrity, security and consistency of data input at the district level
  • Provide capacity building and technical support to partner NGOs to ensure that their performance meet minimum organizational standards relevant to systems operations
  • Conduct regular visits to target districts to ensure consistent processes and enable direct support when necessary
  • Identify Sponsorship Business related and provide problem solving or trouble shooting support to districts, or coordinate support with NO when Sponsorship Business related issues need to be escalated
  • Coordinate Sponsorship Business related processes and activities with relevant National Office stakeholders to enable all Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship Business processes for the Field Office and its relevant Area Programmes (APs) function optimally
  • Produce regular and timely analysis and reporting for Field Office and its relevant APs. Communicate trends and issues for follow up
  • Ensure that quality and timely data is available for planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting purposes, as well as for project/proposal development purposes to ensure maximum programming integration
  • Identify, assess and communicate risks associated with maintenance and utilization of sponsorship 2.0 and systems for the Field Office and its relevant Area Programmes (APs).
  • Coordinate mitigation measures together with NO Stakeholders, Sponsorship Field Specialist and Sponsorship Field Coordinators.
  • Ensure that all processes associated with WVIN’s Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship systems are in compliance with organizational standards and policies
  • Contribute to strategic organizational process including annual planning, budgeting and reporting processes, and audit processes
  • Continuously assess the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of WVI Nepal’s Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship Business related processes. Share learning and critical feedback with NO, Regional Office and Global Center stakeholders to initiate processes for improvement
  • Perform other organizational and business processes that are required to contribute to WVI Nepal’s strategic objectives and to maintain a healthy organizational life
  • Increasing demonstration and understanding of and commitment to World Vision’s Core Values in the approach to work and relationships

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Required Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 3-year experience in similar or equivalent positions in development sector or sponsorship-focused organization
  • Experience in preparing and facilitating training workshops
  • Experience working in a rural or remote district of Nepal

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/Development Studies/ Sociology/ International Relation or any relevant field

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Sociology/ International Relation or any relevant field
  • Knowledge of World Vision’s Technical Programmes and organizational policies and standards, including Child Sponsorship standards

Travel: 50%
