JOB SUMMARY

  • Onboarding Liability Operation – Maker Level.
  • Review documents for CASA including segment 14 and 02
  • Open relationship, master, and subsidiary accounts
  • Subscribe e-statement.
  • Subscribe online banking.
  • Signature scanning.
  • Open relationship for credit card only customers, Safe deposit locker holder, account authority holder, loan co-borrower.
  • Make follow up for SCILE ID for opening master of segment 14 and 02 customers.
  • Open subsidiary for loan related accounts such as FT 11, Ft 16 and create Sweep and link accounts as applicable.
  • Make follow up for discrepancies documents and tracker of deferral documents.
  • Update MIS in relationship or subsidiary level as applicable for various reporting purpose.
  • Process for account attribute change (interest code, product code etc. as applicable)
  • Keep MIS of the department such as volume, inventory etc.
  • Prepare customer’s communication such as letters, SMS as applicable.
  • To maintain all required controls and procedures.
  • To ensure that the established service standards are met.
  • To provide administrative support to BDM/JBDM/PFCs on CASA booking.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing Standards

  • Ensure that processing capabilities are geared up to achieve accuracy as per the service level standards and strive to exceed the standards focusing on superior service.

Operational efficiency

  • Ensure that the personnel of the unit are adhering to the procedures set in the operating manuals in order to achieve optimum efficiency in the conduct of their jobs. Handle exceptions from the norms and initiate corrective and preventive actions

Inhouse Service Standards

  • Ensure that all queries related to routine activities are responded to within the time frames pre specified.

Escalation

  • Keep Supervisors and Manager Onboarding Liability advised of the exceptional occurrences, to enable appropriate action.

Compliance

  • Ensure that all laid down procedures, central bank regulation and key control standards are adequately followed.

Reporting

  • Keep respective Supervisor and Manager Onboarding Liability advised of the regular operations of the unit.

CDD and Anti Money Laundering

  • Ensure timely understanding and compliance with all the applicable regulations of the bank, group and country including money laundering prevention and CDD.

Out Serve

  • Embed a customer service culture through the departments out serve initiatives and participation in countries out serve initiatives.

Strategy

  • To align role and delivery as per WRB strategy.

Risk Management

  • Execution responsibility for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating financial crime risk, sanctions risk and reputational risks to the Group. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them.

Governance

  • Ensure the relevant processes are followed as per Group and Local requirement.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualification, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications: As per Bank’s requirements and HR policy
  • Strong communication skills

Experience & Skills:

  • Clear knowledge of internal operating procedures of Onboarding Liability Operations.
  • Very Good knowledge of eBBS, e-Sigcap , Ibanking and other surround systems being used by the unit.
  • Very good knowledge of Group’s Anti Money Laundering Policy of the Bank.
  • Good team players with good communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Very good knowledge of Central Bank regulations.
  • Able to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and stressful environment.
  • Ability to work with nil or bare minimum supervision.
  • Well organized, able to multi-task and balance competing demands.
