Vacancy Announcement: 

The vacancy opened is of Emergency Aid Program for Landslides and Flood Victims in Bethanchowk Rural Municipality supporting disaster-affected individuals in Bethanchowk. It provides humanitarian aid, psychosocial counseling, renovated water and sanitation systems, and restored school infrastructure to ensure safety and resilience. Join us in the program which is working to emphasizes community sustainability, and recovery.

For this program, we are searching for:

Field Coordinator

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Additional certifications or training in project management or disaster response is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field coordination, particularly in construction, disaster relief, or community infrastructure projects.
  • Hands-on experience in supervising field activities related to water, sanitation, or other civil engineering projects.
  • Previous work in remote or disaster-affected areas is a strong asset.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in construction supervision, site assessment, and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) principles and practices.
  • Ability to use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or GIS tools) for planning and reporting.
  • Coordination with local Stakeholder and local authorities.
  • Strong organizational skills for coordinating logistics and managing resources.
  • Effective communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of infrastructure-related activities, including water supply systems, sanitation facilities, and school renovations.
  • Design and supervise the renovation of critical school infrastructure, such as:
  • Restoring and upgrading sanitation facilities, including toilets.
  • Constructing water supply systems in school premises to provide safe drinking water.
  • Clearing debris and ensuring the structural integrity of playgrounds and access roads

Job Station: Bethanchowk, Kavre

Project Duration: 7 months

Salary and Benefits: NPR 50,000 ‍‌+ accomodation
