Office Runner
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Performance Period: One-year fixed contract with possible extension. After a satisfactory performance in a three-month probation period, the contract would be provided.
Work Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week
Reporting To: Administrative Officer/HR Officer
Role Summary
The Office Runner is responsible for supporting the administrative operations of the organization, ensuring efficient office functionality, and maintaining accurate records. The role includes handling errands, managing documents, providing logistical support, and fostering a well-organized workplace.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital files and records.
- Assist with answering phone calls and relaying messages promptly.
- Help prepare meeting rooms and ensure materials are ready for meetings or events.
- Update appointment calendars, schedule meetings, and process travel vouchers.
Office Operations
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance of office equipment.
- Keep office spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Errands and Logistics
- Travel outside the office for administrative tasks, including delivering and collecting documents.
- Support the purchase of office supplies or equipment as required.
- Assist in handling minor outdoor tasks, such as visiting banks or government offices.
Team Support
- Provide assistance to other administrative staff as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a professional and friendly work environment.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Administrative Officer or HR Officer.
Key Qualifications :
Education:
- Intermediate (10+2) in Management.
Experience:
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience will be preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in typing in English.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Honest, respectful, and trustworthy.
Additional Requirements:
- Must own a personal vehicle with a valid license.
- Physically fit and able to handle outdoor and manual tasks effectively.
