Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to sustainable development and environmental justice in Nepal. Position: Project Officer (Climate Finance)
Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Project Officer (Climate Finance). As a full-time member of PRC, dedicated to sustainable development and environmental justice, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of climate finance project. Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective and timely implementation of project activities, including tracking and maintaining a database on climate finance situation in the country, publication of policy briefs, articles and reports, and engaging with diverse stakeholders including government, NGOs, and development partners.
With a Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters) in Economics, Economic Development, Finance, or related disciplines, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, this role requires experience in national budget analysis, delivering project activities, and stakeholder engagement. The candidate should demonstrate the understanding of climate finance, and experience of engaging with government ministries, and familiarity with the climate or environment sector are highly desirable.
