PROJECT CO-MANAGER, TAL
Major Responsibilities: Under the technical supervision of the Head of Forests & Landscapes Programs and direct supervision of the Program Manager, s/he will be responsible for overall project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting Terai Arc Landscape (TAL) Program. S/he works in close coordination with implementing partners and other stakeholders from local to central levels to ensure maximum output/outcomes of the program. S/he also works towards building internal and external partnerships. Co-leads the entire program team and co-manages performance of program staffs. Keeps abreast of changing socio-political environment and responds strategically. The position is based in Kohalpur, Banke.
Qualifications: A master’s degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science or related field with at least 6 years of experience in implementation of integrated conservation and development projects. S/he should have strong communication, coordination and mobilization skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in managing program/project with good business acumen and high decision-making abilities is desired.
