Job Summary:
The ESG Program Coordinator will support the development, implementation, and management of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This role involves coordinating ESG projects, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG principles and excellent organizational skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of ESG programs and initiatives.
Coordinate meetings, track project timelines, and manage project documentation.
Data Management:
Collect, analyze, and maintain ESG-related data and metrics.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, marketing) to integrate ESG principles into business practices.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including vendors, community organizations, and regulatory bodies.
Research and Compliance:
Stay updated on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices.
Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and ensure adherence to relevant guidelines.
Communication:
Develop and distribute internal communications related to ESG initiatives.
Support the creation of educational materials and training sessions to raise awareness about ESG topics.
Event Coordination:
Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on ESG themes and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in project management, sustainability, or ESG-related roles.
Familiarity with ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
