Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Job: 

The ideal candidate will Implement and manage TLMN information technology service and participate in the development of long-term strategy for the future direction of information management. Work with management team to provide effective IT standards and policies’ to TLMN in information and technology

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and maintain the hospital IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and computer systems.

  • Provide technical support to hospital department, staff, hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware as required.

  • Ensure the security of the hospital IT systems and data through regular updates, backups, and security measures.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Monitor system performance and manage network availability.

  • Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and ensure proper functioning.

  • Provide training and support to users on new technologies and systems.

  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with hospital departments to support their IT needs.

  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements to suggest improvements.

  • Manage and oversee the Hospital Management Information System software.

  • Conduct analysis of an organization’s computer systems to identify and fix performance bugs.

  • Oversee the connection and setup of local area or wide area networks for an organization.

  • Responsible for the security and integrity of an organization’s information database.

  • Ensure the security of an organization’s IT database by performing backups and updating security protocol.

  • Recommendations to organizations on strategies necessary for enhanced IT operations.

  • Oversee the upgrade or modification of existing systems to ensure operational. efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot/analyze computer systems to identify and eliminate performance bugs and hardware malfunction.

  • Run quality checks on products/programs to ensure optimal and efficient performance.

  • Conduct inspections to ensure IT systems and equipment are operational

  • Install and configure IT systems such as local area networks and wide area networks

  • Ensure the effective operation of all necessary IT system with TLMN IT policy and international best practice to maintain complete IT system management.

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred.

  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Experience with network administration and management.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
