Vacancy Announcement:
MAFRA-CSA Project: "A safety net of innovative land tenure solutions for near-landless sharecroppers and for a greener rural Nepal (MAFRA-CSA Project)" is going to be implemented with the partnership between Good Neighbors International Nepal (GNI Nepal) and Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC)in four local governments of Dang district. The project aims to build climate resilience of the landless and informal settlers through the promotion of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) green enterprises establishment, and regreening activities

Expected Joining Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 1 year (with the possibility of extension based on the performance review)
Gross Salary: NPR 40,000 per month based on qualification and experience
Position Description
The Agriculture Technician (AT) will be responsible for the extension, communication, and training of farmers; diagnosis of agriculture-related problems and needs; providing solutions to the problems and implementing climate-smart interventions to implement project activities. Under the overall guidance of the CSA Coordinator and Program Coordinator, s/he should work closely with local representatives, and targeted beneficiaries. S/he should empower the community to adapt the climate-smart agriculture technologies and establish green enterprises.
