Vacancy Announcement:
MAFRA-CSA Project: "A safety net of innovative land tenure solutions for near-landless sharecroppers and for a greener rural Nepal (MAFRA-CSA Project)" is going to be implemented with the partnership between Good Neighbors International Nepal (GNI Nepal) and Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC)in four local governments of Dang district. The project aims to build climate resilience of the landless and informal settlers through the promotion of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) green enterprises establishment, and regreening activities
Position: CSA Coordinator
Required No: 1
Workstation: Lamahi, Dang
Expected Joining Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 1 Year (with the possibility of extension based on the performance review)
Gross Salary: NPR 75,000 gross per month based on experience and qualification
Position Description
The CSA Coordinator will play a key role in the overall coordination and the successful implementation of the project, achieving overall goal through the promotion of climate-smart agriculture in the Gadhawa, Rajpur, Rapti Rural municipalities (RM) and Lamahi municipality of Dang district. S/he will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the CSA project. S/he will take the lead in the delivery of project activities and ensure technical quality in project implementation. The CSA Coordinator will report to the Program Coordinator (PC) at the Dang Field Office and Executive Director (ED) at Kathmandu Field Office of CSRC, and Program Focal Person of Good Neighbors International (GNI).
