Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC) Vacancy for Various Positions
Vacancy Announcement:
PRATIBADDHA-III: "Whole of Society Approach for Increased Risk Ownership, Multi-Hazard Preparedness and Early Action in Hills Areas of Western Nepal" is an EU-funded project that is going to be implemented with the consortium approach by People In Need (PIN), Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC) and Save the Children International (SCI). It focuses on Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, targeting areas recently impacted by earthquake (EQ), predicted EQ impacts and its susceptible to landslide risk. The project adopts a system-strengthening approach aiming to build capacities of the provincial government (PG) and local government (LG) to lead in developing a landslide disaster preparedness (DP) and early action (EA) framework, increasing the scope for its replication in non-targeted LGs in the case of future disasters. The project consists of three results, R1 reduces hazard exposure, R2 enhances multi-hazard EA for at-risk communities, and R3 acts crisis.
1) Position: MEAL Coordinator

Workstation: Birendranagar, Surkhet, Karnali with regular field visits to project areas

Position Description
The Monitoring Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring efficient information management, improving data quality, and strengthening the knowledge-sharing and learning process across the organization, with partners and other stakeholders. The MEAL Coordinator will work closely with the program team to develop and manage the quality of program implementation through the effective mobilization of MEAL tools and techniques. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to inclusivity and community engagement

2) Position: DRM Coordinator (Province)

Workstation: Bagmati Province and Sudurpaschim Province

Duration: 20 Months
Position Description
The DRM Coordinator (Province) will be seconded in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of the respective province and will work closely with the DRR focal person and PEOC of the respective ministry. S/he will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the provincial ministry, department, development agencies, and other respective organizations for the DRRM activities and its mainstreaming in development. This position is crucial to bridging the DRRM, social protection, and social development activities in the local government.

3) Position: Municipal DRM Officer

Duration: 20 Months
Position Description
The Municipal Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Officer will be seconded in a respective local government office and will work closely with the DRM Coordinator (provincial) and consortium team members. S/he is responsible for coordinating and collaborating with local government officials to manage program activities and assist in strengthening DRRM governance at the municipal level. The role involves organizing and leading DRRM initiatives, providing technical support, and ensuring the integration of DRRM into local development plans.

4) Position: Finance Associate

Workstation: Kedarsyu Bajhang-1 with regular field visits to project areas

Position Description
The Finance Associate will support the program team in implementing project activities on time and manage financial transactions for field activities. This role ensures financial compliance and accountability during the conduction of field activities, contributing to the overall success and integrity of the project.

5) Position: DRM Facilitator
Required No: 6

Duration: 20 Months
Position Description
The Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Facilitator will be mobilized in the respective communities and will work closely with the Municipal DRM Officer and consortium team members. S/he is responsible for facilitating the capacity building of the people of the community by forming a Community Disaster Management Committee (CDC) in the communities facing disaster risk. The role involves managing community-level activities in coordination with mothers' groups, youth groups, user committees, land rights forums and disabled people organization (DPOs) specified in the program.
