Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited Central Office Human Resources Department Notice Regarding Filling Application Forms for Contract Service

As per the decision of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited dated 2081/03/30, applications are invited from interested and qualified Nepalese citizens with the minimum educational qualifications and experience as specified, who have not been convicted of any offense, for the positions mentioned below. This is in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) for the implementation of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program (REEEP).

Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the application form starting from 2081/04/02. The completed form must be submitted to the bank's Human Resources Department or via the bank's email ID hrd@rbb.com.np, along with a copy of the Nepalese citizenship, required educational qualifications, experience certificates, and a passport-sized photo.

Incomplete applications, applications lacking the required minimum educational qualifications and experience, applications without the specified examination fee, and applications received after the specified date will not be considered.

Additionally, applications from individuals who have been dismissed from government service or any organized institution or bank/financial institution on grounds of misconduct, those convicted of a crime of moral turpitude by a court, those disqualified for appointment in any position in a bank/financial institution as per the regulations and directives issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, and those blacklisted for defaulting on loans will not be considered. If any false details are mentioned in the application form, the applicant will be held accountable.

(2) Minimum Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• A master's degree in engineering, management, or economics in an energy-related topic from a recognized University/Institution. Minimum of 3 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in energy-efficiency in an industrial setting. Experience in energy audit, energy management, and energy financing is advantageous.

• For candidates with a bachelor's degree in the mentioned areas, a minimum of 7 years of work experience with at least 5 years in energy efficiency/energy management is necessary.

• Strong report-writing and communication skills in both Nepali and English are required. A solid understanding of the local energy efficiency market and experience in the banking and finance sector is highly desirable.

(3) Examination Type, Placement, and Service Facilities:

• Examination Type: Interview

• Placement: Bank’s Central Office

• Service Facilities: As per mutual understanding with the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program (REEEP) operated in collaboration with GIZ.

(4) Application Submission Period: Within 15 days from the publication date (2081/04/02) (if the last date falls on a public holiday, the next day).

(5) Examination Fee: NPR 700 (Seven Hundred Only)

(6) Examination Fee Submission: The original voucher of the examination fee deposited in the "Rastriya Banijya Bank In Opera" account number 185010000028001 at the bank’s corporate branch (185) must be attached to the application form.

(7) Application Form Availability: Forms can be obtained from the bank's Human Resources Department or downloaded from the bank's website under Career Notice at www.rbb.com.np.

(8) Interview Venue: The interview will be conducted at the bank's Central Office building, Singha Durbar Plaza, Kathmandu.

(9) TOR of the Relevant Position: The Terms of Reference (TOR) for the position is available on the bank’s website under Career Notice at www.rbb.com.np.

(10) Validity of Educational Qualifications, Experience, Service Period, and Other Certificates: Only those issued by the application submission deadline will be considered valid.
