Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Municipal Executive Office, Kathmandu Advertisement for Filling the Position of Heavy Driver on Contract. According to the Local Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2079 issued by the Bagmati Provincial Government and the Procedure for Filling the Positions on Contract in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 2079, applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill the position of Heavy Driver on contract as per the temporary posts available in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Type of Examination:
The selection will be based on the ranking of qualifications as per the Procedure for Filling the Positions on Contract in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 2079, followed by an interview.
Examination Center: As designated by Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Application Fee: Advertisement No. 5-080/81, fee Rs. 500 (five hundred), double fee Rs. 1,000 (one thousand).

Age Limit for Candidates:
For male candidates, the age should be at least 21 years and not exceed 40 years by the last date of application submission. For female candidates, the age should be at least 21 years and not exceed 40 years by the last date of application submission. The age limit will not apply during the double fee period.

Applications must be submitted only through the "Online Application System for Heavy Driver on Contract" available on the website of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Municipal Executive Office, kathmandu.gov.np.
Period for Submitting Application Fee:
From 2081/03/27 to 2081/04/16, with double fee from 2081/04/17 to 2081/04/23.
Documents to be Uploaded:
Passport-sized photo, Nepali citizenship certificate, driver's license, and scanned copy of the application fee voucher.
Date, Time, and Venue of Interview:
Information will be provided via email and SMS to shortlisted candidates based on the decision of the Evaluation and Interview Committee as per the Procedure for Filling the Positions on Contract in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 2079. Additionally, interview-related information will be published in Gorkhapatra daily and on the Kathmandu Metropolitan City website kathmandu.gov.np. In case of non-receipt of information via email or SMS, the information published in Gorkhapatra daily or the official website will be considered official.
Job Description: Tasks related to Heavy Driver as per prevailing laws at the local level.
Salary and Benefits: As per the prevailing laws of the local level.
Job Duration: 6 months (the term can be extended as deemed necessary by Kathmandu Metropolitan City).
Special Instructions Regarding Required Documents and Experience:
The specified documents, including the Nepali citizenship certificate, must be scanned and uploaded in the size and format specified by the "Online Application System for Heavy Driver on Contract."
Work experience letters or certificates from government offices, institutions, and private companies will be included in the evaluation. Such work experience will only be considered up to a maximum of 5 years.
The work experience certificate must clearly state the period of employment. Only full years will be considered in the experience calculation; months and days beyond the year will not be counted.
Priority will be given to residents of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and areas affected by waste management.
