Himalayan Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Ltd., and operating merchant banking business licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) is seeking for a dynamic, and self-motivated individual for Heading the Corporate Advisory Function of the organization.
Level : Mid to Senior Level

Reports to : Chief Executive Officer

Skills, Education and Work Experience Requirements
Educational and professional qualification
The candidate must possess all of the following qualifications
Master’s degree in the field of commerce, finance, or management,
Master’s degree in law, and
Having completed Chartered Accountancy or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Job Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the Corporate Advisory function of the organization.
Drive the overall Business Growth and Operational aspects of the department and achieve business and revenue targets.
Proactive analysis of business and operations of client in order to identify pain points and advise clients.
Research new feasible and profitable business avenues through creation of innovative advisory services.
Prepare proposals for investment, restructuring, financing, and other advisory services.
Conduct Due Diligence Assessment on behalf of client companies for M&A and Investments.
Conduct fund-raising of client organization in terms of either equity/ debt.
Lead the advisory function of the organization and ensure smooth operations through proper leadership and delegation, ensure compliance and reporting to the regulator and applicable legal provisions.
Ensure smooth execution of advisory services in coordination with the clients by holding/ participating in negotiation, entrance, coordination, and exit meetings.
BEnsure regulatory reporting of the department with the regulators.
Carry out internal research and development projects for the organization to strengthen organizational knowledge base and prepare reports and proposals for the same.
