System Analyst

Job Location: Kathmandu

Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in IT or banking and financial or payment industries.

Professional Skill Required

  • Network and IT infrastructure management, knowledge of IP network, firewalls, routers, switches, LAN, WAN, hardware and software management and troubleshooting

  • Knowledge of OS fundamentals, Windows Server, Linux, Unix, virtualized environment etc. 

  • Knowledge of web and APP hosting techniques and scripting languages

Requirements

  • Job Details: System Analyst is an officer level contractual position, to be confirmed upon satisfactory completion of performance as per company’s policy

  • Age: Minimum age limit of 21 years and not exceeding 35 years for male and 40 years for female on the last date of submission of application.

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related field from a recognized university.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Track every project and report it to concerned stakeholders 

  • Follow the Change Management Process of the company for any software development 

  • Co-ordinate with different departments for collecting requirements regarding required automations 

  • Ensure proper implementation of security standard and guidelines issued by regulatory authority 

  • Researching, designing, implementing, and managing systems 

  • Testing and evaluating new systems 

  • Identifying areas for modification in existing systems and subsequently developing these modifications 

  • Developing quality assurance procedures 

  • Review logs of change management, patch management, back up & restoration, and other critical infrastructure to identify trends 

  • Monitor and report system and network health and related threats 

  • Oversee incident response planning as well as facilitate the investigation of security breaches

  • Ensure that DR drill is conducted as per the BCP/DRP and is adequately documented 

  • Monitoring of the process, completeness and security of transactions 

  • Working closely with other developers, UI/UX designers, business partners, vendors and business analyst 

  • Strictly follow company’s policies and regulatory Policies/Standards/Guidelines 

  • Report overall performance of IT Department to Chief IT 

  • Any other jobs assigned from time to time
