Position: Program OfficerKey Responsibilities:
• Implement program activities in project sites as and when required.
• Prepare, plan, and execute work plans for project activities.
• Foster the professional growth of local trainers by providing expertise on training methodologies and essential skills.
• Play a pivotal role in designing, expanding, and effectively managing training and development programs aligned with organizational needs.
• Guide, mentor, and supervise subordinates and team members to attain program goals.
• Prepare and present reports for both internal stakeholders and external partners, showcasing the impact.
• Maintain and build relationships with local stakeholders and other development agencies.
• Write case studies and impact stories of program graduates.
• Assist the Communication team in sharing program updates and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Education, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in program delivery and management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
• Desired Skills and Competencies:
• Proficiency in both Nepali and English language.
• Capability to deliver engaging presentations and possess essential IT skills.
• Proven skills in problem-solving and negotiation to address challenges and ensure smooth collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to efficiently manage tasks, timelines, and resources.
• Exceptional time-keeping skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong personal commitment to continuous learning and improvement of knowledge and skills.
• Flexibility in understanding and integrating gender, diversity, and inclusion perspectives into training and development planning and delivery.
