Excel Development Bank Limited, a “B” class financial institution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, having its network across Koshi Province with its Central Office at Birtamod, Jhapa is the one and only Province Level Development Bank of Nepal. The bank invites application from the self-motivated, qualified and result oriented Nepali candidates to fill the following positions immediately.

Vacancy Details:

1. Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Required No.: One
(Executive Level)

• At least 12 years of experience in banks or financial institutions, including 5 years in a managerial position with exposure to credit areas. Should have the ability to solicit and onboard qualitative and sustainable business, considering the risk appetite of the bank. Should have sound knowledge of directives, rules, and regulations governing banking business and should possess exemplary leadership skills to lead and direct the team towards the achievement of strategic goals.
• Minimum Master degree in management or economics from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.

2. Chief Risk Officer

Required No.: One
(Managerial Level)

• At least 10 years of experience in banks or financial institutions, including 5 years in an officer position, with inclusive exposure to the credit risk management function for more than 2 years. Should have sound knowledge of credit risk management, operations risk management, and IS risk management and should be able to drive the overall risk management functions of the bank in a manner such that banking activities are sustainable and resilient.
• Minimum Master degree in management or equivalent from a recognized university securing minimum 60% or equivalent aggregate marks.

3. Business Head

Required No.: One
(Managerial Level)

• At least 7 years of experience in banks or financial institutions in the credit function, with a minimum two year of experience as cluster/regional head in banks or financial institutions.
• Minimum Master degree in management/economics or equivalent from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.

4. Cluster Head

Required No.: Few
(Upto Deputy Manager)

• Minimum 7 years banking experience with at least 5 years of experience as leader in credit role of branches/offices.
• Minimum Master degree in management/economics or equivalent from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.

5. Chartered Accountant

Required No.: Few
(Position – Negotiable)

• Minimum 2 years posts qualification experience in BFIs preferable.
• Qualified Chartered Accountancy from a recognized institute.

6. Branch Manager

Required No.: Few
(Junior Officer to Senior Officer)

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial bank with at least 1 -year inclusive period as Branch manager.
• Minimum Bachelors degree in management/economics or equivalent from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.

7. Semi Qualified CA

Required No.: Few
(Position – Negotiable)

• Working experience in BFIs preferable.
• Having exposure in banking audit are encouraged.

8. Relationship Manager

Required No.: Few
(Assistant)

• At least 2 years of experience in BFIs with at least 1-year inclusive period in credit related function.
• Minimum Bachelors degree in management/economics or equivalent from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.

9. Trainee Assistant

Required No.: Few
For Sankhuwasabha, Dhankuta, Udaypur, Panchthar and Taplejung districts

• Freshers can apply
• Bachelors degree in management from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.
  Age requirement for Trainee Assistant will be maximum 28 year.

10. Gold Tester

Required No.: Two
(especially for Birtamod & Dharan)

• Candidates must possess working experience as a gold tester in any BFIs or minimum 3 years in case of work experience in any established gold business houses with minimum SLC or equivalent level academic qualification.
