REMREC Vacancy Announcement for Social Mobilizer (For Female Only)

Resource Management and Rural Empowerment Center (REMREC) a non-governmental organization invites applications from qualified Nepali nationals to hire immediately for the following position to work in SAHAKARYA: Collective Action for Inclusive Development (a project implementing at Namobuddha Municipality and Roshi Rural Municipality of Kavrepalanchok district) under the Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) Approach in partnership with CBM Global and collaboration with local governments.

Duty Station: Two positions for Roshi & one position for Namobuddha)

Job Description_ Social Mobilizer

Required Academic Qualification and Experience

10+2 or Intermediate level Education (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in management, education, health, disability study, social works, diploma in community development, pre-diploma in social mobilization (with 10+2 degree) or a comparable discipline from the recognized Institutions/university with at least two years of community development   experiences particularly in inclusive health, inclusive education, inclusive livelihood or a similar field.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Inclusive community development knowledge and skill.
• Good understanding of disability and inclusive development.
• Extensive knowledge on inclusive health, inclusive education, and livelihood skills.
• Minimum proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali languages.

Ability to work closely in collaboration with local government including health, education, social security section, disabled people organizations, and civil society organizations.
