Vacancy Announcement: 

Relief Nepal is a non-profit making, non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, social development organization of Sindhuli district. It has successfully implemented Livelihood, Child rights, WASH, Education and DRR projects in Sindhuli and invites applications from the interested and eligible Nepali citizens who have the ability to implement “ELEVATE: Equitable Learning Environments for All” project with quality and on time in partnership with Childaid Network Foundation.

Position: Admin & Finance Officer (Required No: 1)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management or science or commerce or any other relevant discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in managing finance and administrative functions and hands-on experience of working with INGOs/NGOs. Experience in dealing with audit, tax related matters and issues, wider perspective of financial and administrative management in developmental organizations are preferable. Experience of handling financial software and working on spreadsheets is desirable.

Roles & Responsibility:

  • General financial recording and bookkeeping using accounting software following donor and organization policies.

  • Support and ensure all the payments are made following proper financial procedures.

  • Ensure proper supporting documents for expense verification.

  • Preparation and administration of payroll adhering to the required compliance.

  • Issuance and settlement of employee advance.

  • Reconciliation of payable and receivable ledger.

  • Preparation of bank reconciliation.

  • Keep the scan copy of voucher and submit it to donor.

  • Support the project/program team in preparation of monthly and annual budget.

  • Provide financial analysis to the project/Program lead including the board.

  • Preparation of donor financial report and shared as per the agreed timeline to the donor and project lead.

  • Preparation and analysis of fund/cash flow forecast 

  • Ensure each and every expense is valid and meets minimum financial requirements.

  • Support in procurement and supply chain including LTA with vendor.

  • Preparation of Annual Procurement plan

  • Admin and logistic arrangement including vehicle management.

  • Asset management and handling

  • Ensure internal control measures are in place and are followed appropriately.

  • Assist in all type of audit (Internal, donor, external)

  • Any task as assigned by the supervisor and board.

  • Liaised with government agencies such as, Tax Office concerning annual audit report, tax clearance, etc.
