Finance and Admin Officer
Under the direct supervision of Team Leader, the position is responsible for overall management of project’s Finance and Administrative matters including logistics and procurement. The position will be based in Biratnagar and will have below mentioned specific job responsibilities :
1. Finance
Basic financial transactions & bookkeeping, Voucher raising, and preparing the periodic financial reports in close coordination with Finance Manager.
S/he will be responsible for addressing day-to-day financial issues, preparing periodic budget forecast, and expenditure analysis as per the requirement of the project.
S/he will be responsible for the monitoring of financial transactions, budget utilization within FAIRMED and partner organizations.
Support PNGO staff in the management of project budget and expenditure.
S/he will guide the project team about the financial regulations of the government, annual budget preparation including tax and audit regulations.
2. Admin
Prepare procurement plan and ensure all procurement are timely carried out,
Timely update of inventory records
Ensure periodic evaluation of suppliers and quality of supplied goods and services,
Ensure the safety and security of office-related equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
Ensure proper use of office assets/equipment, vehicles, motorcycles etc.
Ensure proper servicing, timely renewal of insurance policy and road tax etc.
Handling of HR related functions at the project level
Logistic arrangements (ticketing/vehicle hiring, hotel booking, training/workshop venue booking etc.) as per the need of the project.
3. Logistics
The Employee will be responsible for initiating fair and efficient procurement and logistic processes in the organization. S/he is expected to support the existing logistic framework of the organization as well as establish new and effective systems.
Minimum Requirements
At least bachelor’s degree in business studies/business administration majoring in Accounting/Auditing with at least 3 years of work experience or, master’s degree with 2 years of work experience in finance, admin, and logistics management.
Prior experience in development projects will be advantageous.
