Job Vacancy:
We are commencing new projects and aiming to fill these positions by the end of January 2024.
Station: Kathmandu with frequent travels to Dhading, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, etc.
Duration: 1-year contract, renewable for 3 years based on satisfactory performance.
Program Officer (Level: Mid)
Key Responsibilities:
Implement program activities in project sites as and when required.
Prepare, plan, and execute work plans for project activities.
Foster the professional growth of local trainers by providing expertise on training methodologies and essential skills.
Play a pivotal role in designing, expanding, and effectively managing training and development programs aligned with organizational needs.
Guide, mentor, and supervise subordinates and team members to attain program goals.
Prepare and present reports for both internal stakeholders and external partners, showcasing the impact.
Maintain and build relationships with local stakeholders and other development agencies.
Write case studies and impact stories of program graduates.
Assist the Communication team in sharing program updates and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Education, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in program delivery and management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in both Nepali and English language.
Capability to deliver engaging presentations and possess essential IT skills.
Proven skills in problem-solving and negotiation to address challenges and ensure smooth collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Strong organizational and planning skills to efficiently manage tasks, timelines, and resources.
Exceptional time-keeping skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
Strong personal commitment to continuous learning and improvement of knowledge and skills.
Flexibility in understanding and integrating gender, diversity, and inclusion perspectives into training and development planning and delivery.
